The Membership year runs from September 1 – August 31. Membership is renewed on August 31.

By submitting my application for PTC membership, I certify that:

I am 18 years of age and am mentally competent.

I have read and agreed to the Waiver and Release.

I have reviewed the Hiker's Guide.

I have attended at least two PTC hikes.

Philadelphia Trail Club

The Philadelphia Trail Club (PTC) is a hiking club formed in 1931 - organize local hikes, biking, kayaking. Incorporated under the Nonprofit Corporation Law of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Encourage love for the out of doors through camping, tramping, canoeing and similar sports. Regions adjacent to Philadelphia and as far west as the Appalachian Trail (AT).

Encourage education of the region through knowledge of its geology, topology, forestry, botany and wild life.
