Memorial Fund Grant Request
Use this form to request a Grant from PTC's Memorial Fund for an organization or park related to the preservation, rehabilitation or enjoyment of the outdoors. ONLY Requests from Members of the PTC will be accepted for consideration by the Trust Committee and Board.
The PTC Memorial Fund is managed by the Trust Committee and is used to preserve, improve, establish or otherwise maintain hiking trails and publicly accessible outdoor venues and park systems, etc.
These requests should include sufficient information about the proposed recipient organization for evaluation by the Trustees to determine if they should recommend it to the Board of Directors. Typical consideration should include, but not be limited to:
- Does the requesting organization provide facilities and/or services to the PTC?
- Does that organization have a non-profit status with Federal Government’s Internal Revenue Service (IRS)?
- Infrequent “substantial special projects of trail preservation by the PTC” may be considered
Requests for funds to eligible organizations are evaluated by the Memorial Fund Trustees who may recommend it to the Board for approval.
